Under Promise Over Serve

This statement is what I base this business on. Doing the things that work for the horses, clients and myself.
My work in horse transport comes from decades in the industry. I started as a young person cleaning stalls, volunteering, worked my way through barn management and equine studies, learned from generous mentors, earned my Equine Canada English coach certification, and eventually owned a boarding facility and riding school in Kamloops, B.C., while co‑owning an automotive collision center. Everything I bring to this work was built through experience, not shortcuts.
Those experiences shaped my approach to business: clear communication, strong ethics, and genuine transparency. They’ve kept Eastwind moving since 2008.
Horse transport requires more than driving skill. It demands horsemanship, organization, and the ability to adapt to every situation. Clients are key partners in the process—accurate information and open communication make shipping smoother for everyone.
In 2023, we moved to a beautiful acreage in Central Alberta and launched Acreage People, an acreage supply business that complements my transport work and adds a new chapter to the journey.
My goal is simple: that clients feel confident in my experience, judgment, and commitment to their horses’ well‑being. I enjoy helping and discussing what is best suited for you and your horse!
